The Roman Baths Museum lies within the fortress walls, close to the National Roman Legion Museum, and were the principal baths for the legion. The Baths Museum has a covered walkway over part of the remains of the military bathhouse. There was a frigidarium, tepidarium, caldarium, and an open-air swimming pool. Cadw administers the baths museum and includes projected imagery to re-create the scenes of Roman bathers.
